Honda Genuine Phil Reed Replica 1978 one of only about 35 left of the genuine batch of 150 built by Colin Seeley for Honda Britainmaking this a very rare and Unique classic bike.
This bike has only had 3 owners from new and the last owner had the bike for over 33 yrs and only being sold due to failing health problems.
Still has only covered just over 14. 000m from new with old mots and most tax disks from new
This bike is in fantastic original condition from new and still has all its original paintwork etc. still has the colin seeley sticker on the handlebars etc.
every detail on this bike is correct inc cibbie headlight / compstar wheels / alloy tank all fittings on this bike are genuine honda britain.
The last owner had a stainless silencer made for the bike to original spec as he said he had 2 originals on the bike and they just rotted away within 2 years
This bike runs and rides like new with very sweet sound from the exhaust just takes you back to 1979 when phil reed and mike halewood battled it out for the IOMF1 TT win
I think it would be very hard to find another one of these in such original condition with full history etc. and i am sure it will be a great Investment for someone to haveride / show or just keep as a bluechip Investment for the future.
We have just serviced the Honda and will be putting a full 12 months mot on it for the new Owner
