Very reluctant sale of this fantastic motorcycle.

I have owned this motorcycle about 6 years. when I bought it I was not happy with the engine. so it was removed and taken to N P at London. who is one of the best ( if not THE best ) velocette engine rebuilder around. the engine was given a full rebuild and anything that was worn out was replaced. ( With a receipt ) the result was a superb engine that may I say would be better than when it left the velocette factory.

The engine was refitted ( with new clutch / clutch basket. primary chain. etc... and has only done one thousand miles running in. ( Nick suggested two thousand miles running in. ) the motorcycle was then thoroughly cleaned and put in my front room. and remains there now. the motorcycle is in immaculate condition.

Make no mistake. this is a genuine Velocette Thruxton with matching engine / gearbox / frame numbers and has been authenticated by Ray Thurston's Thruxton register.

Lots of receipts for parts and work done to the bike. hundreds of pounds spent.
Running on a new Amal MK 2 concentric 1036 carb for better starting. this bike starts first or second kick.
The original GP carb is included with the bike.
