Description
For sale. my lovely Ducati GT1000. albeit tastefully customised by myself. It includes everything to put the bike bike to standard if you so wish!
Bought by myself from a retired chap who had bought it new from Ducati and used it to tootle about on.
Only 6 years old (24/1/2009) with 4850 dry miles on the clock and regularly serviced.
Has 11 months left on the MOT. Bike was serviced 900 miles ago last year.
Many mods which include (on the bike)
Termignoni exhaustsRace ECUFLEDA rear lightCustom seatSachs adjustable shocksProgressive fork springsSteering damperClock lowering gaugesCarbon rear huggerDucati Pannier frames and bags (light scratch. see picture)Ducati tank strap and bagNorman Hyde M barsBar end mirrorsChrome front fenderDucati fork protectorsAlso included but not in the pics:
Ducati luggage rackDucati tail packOEM front fenderOEM rear fenderOEM side panelsOEM standard handlebarsOEM mirrorsOEM shocksOEM exhaustsOEM fender extenderOEM ECU

OEM touring handlebarsTouring screenTouring brake cableTouring throttle cableAnd for short arses:
Set of lowered shocksAdditional shortened sidestandAnd Finally:
A second tankA second set of side panels(So you can have them resprayed to a colour of your choice!)
I've basically bought almost everything out of the accessories catalogue for this bike and must have £3-4k invested in spares and extras. Some of the accessories are unobtainium now. Try finding the tank bag. rear bag. pannier frames. shock protectors. termi's. race ECU. sachs shocks. you can't!
Bike never been dropped or ridden in the wet to the best of my knowledge. In good condition but don't expect it to be brand new. It gets ridden every week in Spring/Summer and has the odd small mark. Minor paint flake underneath the engine which happens on everyone I've seen. Bike is regularly treated with ACF50 even though it's never out in the winter.
Bike located in Durham. On a private reg currently which is not included.
