1952 BSA A7 500cc Classic BRITISH TWIN MATCHING NUMBERS

This lovely old BSA twin benefits from a thorough restoration by a VMCC member back in the 1990's to a high standard which has held up very well.

She is a genuine matching numbers bike still with her original frame & engine. This is verified by a Vintage Motorcycle Cycle Club certificate.

There is an comprehensive album of detailed photos showing the bike before during & after restoration. The last two photos are from the album. You will see that the bike was complete & in reasonably good shape even before the restoration.

The bike has covered about 16. 00 miles since 1996 when the restoration was finished. There is a full set of Craven luggage with the bike which indicates that the old girl has done a bit of touring.

She starts easily & plods along smoothly. She does not vibrate like a more highly tuned British twin.

In addition to a number of old MOTs & Tax discs there is a letter from well respected motorcycle expert Roy Bacon to the chap who restored the bike advising him on the correct tank colour scheme. A copy of Roy Bacon's BSA A7/A10 Twins guide book also comes with the bike. ogether with an insurance policy document dating back to July 1953!

Being built before 1960 this bike is now MOT Exempt.

This is a good useable British classic which can be enjoyed & can only go up in value.
