Modern Art Series 5 Auto Conversion Lambretta GP

· Modern Art. show winning Frank Sanderson series 5 custom scooter.

· Built at a cost in excess of 15k. no expense spared. Covered approx. 2300 miles since built.

· Based on an Italian GP frame retaining its original 1969 registration mark as per the V5c.

· Custom one-off paintwork by Dave Dickinson of Bridlington.

· Mildly tuned top spec Mallossi 172cc kitted engine. (Registered as a 125cc).

· Front/Rear disc brakes. Tubeless tyres.

· Retains the auto lube injection system. no messing with oil at the petrol station.

· Electric key or kickstart starting system.

· Fully functional Acewell speedo showing. speed. odometer. fuel level. rpm. low oil level etc

I have added the following to the scooter over the last couple of years.

· Chromed Italian front/rear grills.

· LED rear light unit.

· Innocenti front light & bulb holder unit.

· One-off chromed exhaust system.

· New chromed Frank Sanderson front shocks.

· Full length gel pad fitted into the custom seat.

· Panel grills filled & re-painted by Dave Dickinson.

The scooter has just been serviced/checked over 100% by Roger at Pro Design who has also replaced the following parts.

Battery.

Rollers

Drive belt

Oils/spark plug

Rear tyre & valve.

The scooter has been maintained regardless of cost. I have used it as my main rally scooter for the last 2/3 years. taken to Davos Euro rally last year. It has been a fantastic scooter however. I really have too many & have decided reluctantly to let it go for the right price.

The scooter is in excellent all round condition.

I have though sourced some pics of the scooter during the build stage at Frank Sanderson's Lambretta Innovation.

As you can see the forks/hubs have been painted as per the scooter colour scheme. The tank. cowls & rear shock spring are painted sky blue.

The frame is powder coated in silver. engine case is also done in silver.
