BSA BANTAM D1

It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to part with my Bantam D1. it will come with the following:- new Mikuni carb. it is fitted with the original carb so it is up to the new owner if he wants to swop them over. all special tools to service the bike. numerous spares and all information that you will need to know about Bantams. service manual etc. it is a very large folder. Where shall I start here goes. All wheels are stainless steel so are the spokes. new tyres. tubes. rim tapes. valves and brake shoes the bearings were o. k. Front forks completely overhauled. new bushes fitted new seals. fork gaitors new top fork stantion nuts and the fork stantions were hard chromed at Pitted Forks. not a millimeter of free-play. New exhaust and silencer and barell fastening nut. The engine has been fitted with new bearings. seals. rebore and new piston and rings. New primary chain. New brass petrol tap. New rear suspension chrome spring covers and bump stops. New seat and chrome springs. New handle bars. levers and cables. Chrome has been re-chromed or part renewed where possible. New old stock front mudguard (lucky there) Bare metel respray with numerous coats of paint. all brass grease nipples. I am sure that I have missed other things out. you will be hard pressed to obtain a better one has been kept indoores since restoration.

I forgot to say that I have not applied for a v5 for the Bantam but have the original log book applying for a v5 is an easy process. The bike is classed as a historic vehicle and requires no mot and will also receive free road tax.
