BSA A65 "Thunderbolt" 1965 650. For Restoration

1965 BSA A65 "THUNDERBOLT" 650. REQUIRING RESTORATION
This machine has been imported back from the USA and appears to have had some paint work undertaken - mudguards. side panels and petrol tank have been resprayed. It does require a total refurbishment. The engine turns over and the gears engage. the primary cover is loose but there doesn't appear to be any signs of damage to the primary drive/clutch. except for a worn out tensioner. It was re-imported from the USA last year. It comes with a USA title and HM Customs and Excise NOVA certificate stating that all the Vehicle Post Clearance Checks are satisfied. (i.e. Taxes have been paid).
TCM have recently moved and viewing is strictly by appointment. This bike now resides in Ivybridge. Devon and viewing is recommended if you can. If you are successful in buying this machine and cannot collect it. we are willing to assist with any shipping arrangements you choose to make. We have in the past used a professional motorcycle shipping courier in a van. with an average cost to transport by road in the UK being approx. £130 but it is not our courier and therefore cannot be responsible for the delivery arrangements.
Please bear in mind this machine is 50 years old and therefore we cannot guarantee the condition and therefore no guarantee or warranty is given or implied.
Payment can be via bank transfer or cash. If paying by cheque time must be allowed for it to clear the banking system. The bike will not be released until after the cheque clears.

Please note that if you are from outside of mainland UK then you will have to make all the shipping arrangements. We will of course assist with the dispatch.

The engine and frame numbers do match and it is a genuine factory machine although they didn't list them for long (1974).
