Description
This is a 1934 BSA G14. which is a 1000cc side valve V-twin. This machine benefits from having its buff log book present. its current V5C and is on its original registration number which is transferable. The number will have some value. I don't know how much. Its classed as historic. so is tax and MOT exempt at this age.
These are rare machines. originally used for towing sidecars mainly. This machine is scruffy / original. but in very good mechanical order. It runs really well. very powerful engine and is quiet without undue smoke or noise. This is a panel tank machine. three speed hand change. It has a large brass headlamp. large "around the world" guards for touring and a newish exhaust in stainless. This is a powerful machine for the period and pulls like the proverbial train. This is no oil painting or "blinged up" show pony. this is the real deal and ready to go. All the numbers are correct. correct biflex heavy weight forks. wheels look original etc. still on total loss oil feed. This is a working bike that's scruffy / usable but all the more attractive because of that. So this is ideal to use as is or ideal to restore cosmetically. Surely there's not many left you can say that about from the mid 1930s.
Viewing is welcome. Collection is preferred. although I can arrange for delivery within the mainland UK by courier for £ 100 OR if your feeling brave. bring your tin hat and ride this one away.
I should just say that this is an E14. not a G14. my mistake.
