TRIUMPH BONNEVILLE CLASSIC - FACTORY SPECIAL
A rare Bonneville indeed. a matching numbers factory built Special. This late model manufactured in 1980. is still in remarkably original condition. Running very well. and indicating 23. 77 miles.
The Special T140 Bonneville was one of the last of the original 750cc Twins at the peak of Bonneville development shortly before production ceased. featuring cast alloy wheels. cast iron disc brakes with Lockheed aluminium calipers. electronic ignition. twin Amal MKII carbs. two into one exhaust with a Micron sports silencer.
The bike we have here is totally original save for the Micron silencer it is a truly unmolested example. This is truly a very nice example of this iconic motorcycle. with a lovely patina about it.
Mechanically it is very good. and in full working order. Rides well. and sounds fantastic. Easy to kick start. and lightweight to ride. handles like a dream. and oh so cool! So cool it makes the modern Bonneville look clinically obese.
