Donor Bike Harley Davidson 883 Iron 2011.
Bike has been highly modified which can be seen in the photos. A good picture says a thousand words.
The standard Sportster tank has been split in 2. The front section (in red) now houses the engine oil. which is usually located under the seat. The rear section is still the fuel tank. This is a very unusual mod. The 2 halves of the tank are held together with custom made aluminium straps. Stainless steel braided oil lines fed the engine with oil.
The rear setion of the frame has been cut off and the standard Iron mudguard re-shaped and re-styled with lightening holes and ribs.
The custom made leather embossed seat is mounted using a leaf spring and give the illusion of floating.
Rear swingarm modified with through holes reinfored with tubes to retain the strength.
Swing arm. rear mudguard and tank mod's done by R B Kustoms
Stock rear Iron shocks replaced with Progressive units.
Stock Iron wheels (mags) were replaced with spoked rims. stainless steel spokes and paint details added. Shod with Firestone tyres.
Stock side panels still remain to hide electrics and battery.
Custom exhaust made with Tyga moto maggot muffler. Sounds great. Harley screaming eagle ECU upgrade to take care of custom exhaust and slight increase in power.
One off aluminium anodized bash plate mounted on front section of frame.
Standard Iron forks stripped and stanchions nitride coated in gold.
Mini motogadet mounted to top yoke takes care of the instruments including idiot lights.
Stock Iron controls and levers are held in place with a set of Roland Sands bars. which in turn are held on with Rough Craft clamps.
A Rough Craft headlight is mounted up front.
Rear LED stop. tail and indicators lights relocated under the swing arm.
Custom made stainless steel foot pegs and shifter peg.
Chop 76 brass timing cover.
Custom paint job with contrasting matt and gloss finishes done by Dluck custom paint.
All in all this is a highly modified and unique Sporster ready to ride.
