Description
LAMBRETTA GP 225
For sale, my much-loved GP225. I bought this as a newly restored GP200 from RAYSPEED in October 2013. I used it as a standard 200 for its first season, and then in the winter of 2014, I rebuilt the engine to a high spec, to a BGM RT 225, to suit touring mileage better. Spec is as follows:
- RAYSPEED TS1 Race Crank
- BGM RT 225 Cylinder Kit
- MB Developments Bearings, Seals, and Fittings
- BGM Stator
- BGM Front Sprocket
- Race Crown Wheel 4.8 Gear Ratio
- RAYSPEED Pull Down Chain Tensioner
- GT Clutch Springs
- Surflex Clutch Plates
- Mid Weight Flywheel
- MB Development Manifold
- Dellorto PHBH 26mm Carb (good power and better fuel economy than a 30mm)
- CAMLAM Breathe Easy Air Filter Kit
- CAMLAM High Flow Fuel Tap
- Franspeed 3 Expansion Pipe
Also, I uprated the rear shocker with a READSPEED Fully Adjustable Rear Shocker and the rims with RAYSPEED Tubeless Rims. All fixings have been replaced with UK stainless items — no crappy Indian bolts or brackets. The bike has attended many LCGB rallies in Scotland, Ireland, and the British Isles, and I've covered a lot of hassle-free miles. As well as using the bike 6 days a week for work, rain or shine, it's always been a very good runner.
As a bike mechanic for a living, the bike has been well serviced and maintained, as well as kept clean despite daily use. It is in very good condition with the usual used scooter odd marks but no nasty scratches or dents.
I would be pleased to help any buyer with any further info on the scoot. Please call me.
