Description
Totally restored and repainted to an extremely high standard by Gez and Olly Auker. Please note the Red paint work is a lighter than shown in the photos. This Indian built ( 1979 GP ) was given a full nut and bolt restoration and was registered in the UK in 2008 - so it has a T registration) but it now has an Italian SX150 ( with clear numbers ) engine that has been bored out to 175. It has 12 volt electrics and as a result starts second kick from cold and first kick from warm. It pulls very well indeed ( I was a TV200 (S3) owner in 67/68 so know what I'm talking about). But its still being run in and has covered only 150 miles since the engine went in and the mileage is genuine because I have every mot since it was first UK registered. I also have the British Lambretta Archive letter authenticating the scooter. I'm selling because I am developing rheumatism in my left hand so having difficulties with clutch and gears - the gears and clutch are absolutely fine. its my hand that isn't. I'm 67.
I have just fitted a new Carb and new Rayspeed exhaust instead of the Sterling expansion box it had when I bought it. The Paintwork is beautiful in a Salmon colour with Gold metal flake. Plus traditional Lambretta white in 2 Pack. Tyres are new Michelin and its fitted with wide front dampers. The V5 is present and in my name but the SX engine needs to be registered with the DVLA and will be the new owners responsibilty-presently the V5 is showing as a 125. Besides the points mentioned there's 2 chrome mirrors not currently fitted. plus the Sprint rack and back rest. stainless leg shield beeding. It shown in the photos and of course the flyscreen and a new rubber floorboard mat.
