1972 BSA Fleetstar 250cc

1972 BSA B25 Fleetstar 250cc.

A usable classic in unrestored condition.

Engine start and sound good (but their is a knack to start it poss; as it hasn't been used for so long) - Gears select fine - Tyres good - new battery -Lights etc. all working.

Chrome very good for a 44 year old bike.

Paint slight surface rust on rear mudguard - side panels slight surface rust/crazing - frame good (normal chips due to age) - 1 rubber fork gaiter torn

M. O. T - but never used to present day. same mileage as the day it was M. O. T.

So should pass M. O. T with no problem. but I suggest giving it a good service. as it has not been used for 18 months poss: a lot longer.

Engine and Frame matching numbers. I was told it was X police bike so presume it was maintained to a high standard in it's day.

Their are a number of m. o. t's dating back to 1981. 2 manuals. V5 in my name. Please don't take any notice of date on pictures taken last week.

It was to be my winter restoration project. my mgb roadster has taken priority which I have been working on for the last 7 months ( brought without looking at it BIG mistake)

Hence sale (hopefully) of my BSA. Transport can be arranged at a good price + the guy is very helpful.
