GOLD STAR 350 1951 BSA

First off it has the real racing frame not a copy or bodge up. It has appeared in the tt in the 50. It has spent the last few years doing parades and been shown at events. It has the close ratio gearbox. Rocking horse doings. It has competition magneto. tt carburetor.
It also has the larger vented oil tank and these just don't exist anymore. Great for competition bikes. It also has and unless you know your onions a sump plate cover. These were never normally fitted only to race machines and i am told they gave the frame a much more rigid. Strong feel and performed better so that's a rare fitting.
The bike is road registered so can be used to show etc. It has sat now for well over 5 years and needs to go where it can be seen and heard. It isn't running today but i shall have it fired up i hope when its warmer in the garage. It has great spark but had no fuel in it for along time. So i hope the carb doesn't need cleaning out. It is turned over every now and then to keep here free. It wont take much. I will update the add as i go. Viewing welcome delivery available.
