1959 Harley-Davidson FLH 1200

For sale is my 1959 Harley-Davidson FLH Panhead. This is a two previous owner bike which I imported from the US a couple of years ago.
I believe the last owner owned the bike for more than 30 years and worked for Harley-Davidson as a technician. As you can see he applied some modifications over the years not least of which was putting later Shovelhead cylinders and heads on the bike as well as a jockey shift (the latter was. a little reluctantly. removed). This is therefore a genuine "Pan-Shovel" and has not been modified in any other way. other than being converted to a foot shift and a belt driven primary.

The frame is original and the engine has matching belly numbers. The bike runs and rides as it should.
All import duties have been paid and the bike is fully registered in the UK and I have the V5 in my possession.

Remedial workhas been undertaken by a specialist. The heads have been taken off and the cylinders look to be in good condition with the original modification work done correctly. For the purists among you I am told that it would be a relatively straightforward job to return the bike to Panhead spec should you wish.
