Lambretta LI 150 (175 upgrade) Series III Italian

“Mr Boe” is a scooter which was made in the Innocenti factory in Milan. Italy. in 1963. In 2004 it was brought to England and restored. Its owner sold it on due to ill-health and it was acquired by me in 2014. Sometime in the last 50 years it acquired an engine from a 1961 LI Series 2.

Since I have owned Mr Boe. I have given it a fresh paint scheme based on the Italian flag il Tricolore with a matching seat. A matching crash helmet comes with the scooter. if it fits you! I have also renewed all the cables and installed a new 12volt stator plate. It has electronic ignition and usually starts first or second kick. The front suspension. steering bearings and rear hub have been replaced as have all the rubber bits like the floor runners. grips and beading.

The scooter has lots of chrome. including the headset. cylinder head cover. flywheel cover. tank straps and wheel rims. It has a spare wheel carrier behind the legshields and the spare wheel has a cover with a zipped pocket. There is a rear view mirror attached to the right hand brake pivot pin. At the rear there is a sprint-type rack. It has an AF Rayspeed Clubman exhaust.

Mr Boe is registered in my name and benefits from free road tax.

Please be aware that this is not an immaculate no-costs-spared restoration (if it was it would be double the price) but a good usable scooter and a bit of a head-turner.

The MoT runs out on June 4 but if the buy-it-now price is reached. I will MoT it for you. if you want me to.

I live three miles from M1 Junction 16. I can deliver the scooter on a trailer for £1 per mile. one way.

Reason for selling: I'm looking to get a Scomadi 125.
