Norton Dominator "88"

I've been trying to persuade the ex Californian desert racer "Don Thut" to part with some of his private collection for the last two years. this is nearly the pride of that collection. I had to lose a arm wrestle & listed to his "when I was a boy" stories of racing around the Californian valleys to get him to part with this piece of British Motorcycle history. A classic Featherbed framed Norton Dominator "88" matching numbers bike from 1955. As I understand from Don the front brake is period & unique. It starts. sounds & runs nice. before you ask the correct exhausts are fitted.
The inside of the tank needs a proper clean. I am going to do this but will reduce the price £300 if you would like to do yourself.
This bike needs seeing in the flesh. lovely Borrani alloy rims. flowing lines. The Norton will be supplied registered of course on a 1955 age related plate.
