BSA Trials Bike

This is a well built Otter Replica put together by an experienced trials and Moto Cross rider who decided to stop riding after a crash on another machine. There is copious information on the web about these bikes which were built in the 1960's. There seems to be no definitive specification for them but they all offer light weight. good ground clearance and responsive handling. This is a pure trials bike. Front forks are Betor with an alloy Ariel Leader hub and 21" rim wheel. The rear hub is Bultaco with an 18" Alloy rim wearing a new softy tyre. The rear shocks are NJB. Handlebars and controls. seat and mudguards are all new as is the Reynolds chain. The tank is genuine BSA alloy trials type. The engine comprises C15 cases with the 90mm stroke. end feel roller bearing crank from a B44 with a 68mm B25 piston in a special barrel. The MK1 concentric carb is new and the upswept exhaust with alloy trials silencer is sound and neat. Ignition is CD1. requiring no battery or ignition switch.
