Harley-Davidson Sportster Chopper/ Bobber/ Custom

Hi. you may have seen this for sale a while ago. I have now decided I do want to sell it and have therefore put it up at a sensible price this time. The bike is a 1200 Sportster motor mounted in a custom Softail frame. The frame has a 200 section wide wheel conversion. The front end has standard legs and tubes mounted in a custom billet "Mid Glide" yoke set. a 19" alloy spoked wheel from an early Sportster. a fibreglass fender and black highway bars. speedo and headlight are original. The tank is a custom teardrop type and the seat is a modified Corbin. The engine is basically standard. has one off stainless Short Shot style drag pipes which have removable baffles. a Hypercharger and is Dynojetted to suit. The oil tank is a Mooneyes rolled aluminium item. The rear fender mounts. rear light unit and all belt guarding are one off stainless made by myself along with the exhausts. This bike has so many nice touches to it I think you need to see it to appreciate it's quality. I myself am a shortarse and the ride height is set up to carry myself and my wife. probably 21 stone together. more than that you would need to stiffen the rear springs. I built it like this deliberately to keep the rear fender close to the wheel to look more like a hardtail. This would make a perfect bike for a lady who wants a Harley but doesn't want to hump half a ton of pig iron around.
