1976 Honda Goldwing GL1000

Only 2000 made for the USA in 1976, this is number 203. Nice ones are getting harder and harder to find, and just how many are even left, with original paint, engine etc.? Very nice bike with brand new tires and battery. Runs strong and shifts as it should, brakes are good. Light smoke when first starting which is normal for these bikes. Previous owner switched the carbs to 1981 carbs, I guess they are supposed to be better. Has all of the chrome goodies that came on the LTD, kicker, kickstand, gas cap, radiator scoop shields, petcock, and various bolts. Gauges are very nice, I did have to change the tachometer because the original one was squealing. Temp and gas gauge do not work, all other lights, signals, and buzzer work. Original owners manual and key fob but no tool kit. No holes in the exhaust. Special one year only 1976 gold wheels are very nice. The only areas I have touched up were around the petcock, exposed side of tank right side, and a couple of spots where there were clamps for a fairing bracket. I had a paint shop mix up some candy brown touch up paint for a few chips. The bike has not been painted. The side covers are very nice with no cracks or broken tabs. Tank shelter sides are nice, the right one has some scratches. Sold as-is with no warranty written or implied.
