1950 Harley Davidson WL 45
Almost identical to the infamous military WLA and WLC ‘Liberators'. Harley Davidson's civilian WL 45 models continued in production post-war with the venerable 45ci flathead twin.
Our 1950 example was restored in The Netherlands in 2008/2009. We have photographs of the restoration along with all the bills. Around €7000 of new parts were put into the bike. After restoration the bike was regularly ridden and enjoyed rather than simply existing as a static exhibit as so many are.
The restoration work was of a very high standard and whilst not concours (due to regular use) it remains in absolutely lovely order with superb paint and well-sorted mechanics.
These early Harleys are rare. extremely collectable machines and fantastic for touring.
