1988 BMW R100 Cafe Racer
(I have this listed on my brothers eBay also so if you find it, it is the same vehicle)
Fully reconditioned R100 from top to bottom. The restoration took the better part of 8 months. All seals, gaskets, O-Rings, bolts and washers have been replaced.
The carburetors have been fully disassembled, cleaned, rebuilt, and professionally painted. The cylinder heads were both removed, cleaned of carbon, rebuilt, and new valve covers with seals. The rear main seal was inspected, cleaned, and rebuilt. Oil filter and cover were replaced, the oil cooler was deletedEvery bolt on the entire motorcycle was replaced and copper anti-seize was applied to every bolt. The engine and gearbox are now good as the day it was assembled in W Germany.
The cafe conversion/ upgrades:Keeping the motorcycle looking classy was the main goal of mine for this biked, but with some attitude.
