I will be moving to a part of the country where there are more gravel roads than paved roads. I would like to keep it as Motorcycle art in my living room. But it's better that some one rides it like it's meant to be.
History: A MV Agusta dealership closed down and another dealer bought up its inventory, this bike was part of that inventory. I purchased the bike from that dealership out of Arizona and had it shipped to me.
I had the first generation Brutale 800 and this second generation is much better. Better throttle response, stability, ABS, quick-shifter, and less plastic parts. There are fewer issues with this generation, no sprag-clutch issues.
The red seat is hard to keep clean but still looks good. Only used leather cleaner on it.
Paint could use a nice polish but that being said there are no major issues as it was always garaged and covered. My plan was to get it polished and put paint protection vinyl on it. I do have a screen protector on the gauges that I applied the moment I got the bike.
Kick stand has a cut in it. I suspect the dealer I bought it from dropped a tool on it or something during shipment to me. My plan was to get an aftermarket red cnc one.
I have all the original parts.
I have followed the manufactures recommended break-in process, never exceeding the rpm limit for the mileage. The first recommended service is at 600 miles, which I have already done with a MV qualified dealer, the next service date is at 9000 miles. During the first service I had them install the clear clutch cover and new grips. They also resolved the rear brake issue, change the oil and filter, check chain tension, brakes, and checked over the whole bike for any issues. I can send you the service history or check out the google drive photos.
I have a lien on it. So if you are financing your institution will get the title. If you aren't financing my institution will send you the title. Not anymore complicated than working with a dealer but without the dealer fees.
