1973 Kawasaki Z1. Almost everything is original (except noted below). Pretty original bike. Original paint, chrome, etc. Even has the original owners manual under the seat and original #751 key! I rode it into my garage in 2020 with intentions to freshen it up and fix a couple of things The only thing really wrong with it was an issue with the some of the idiot lightsnot working on the dash, the front turn signals not working, and the front master cylinder needed a rebuild. Life/ covid got in the way. I am not a hge Kawasaki guy, and I need this to go to someone who will appreciate it. I won't get to it soon, and I don't want it to sit and just rot. There aren't enough left to let that happen. It won a trophy in the last show it was in, which was 2019.This is a California bike. I am the third owner. Last owner had it from 1983 to 2019. It spent most of its life in the bay area, southern California, and has travelled through Mexico. The top end was refreshed (per the last owner) a few years ago (I have no details on that). The paint is original, but the frame was powder coated by the previous owner. The odometer says 5k miles, but he said he's sure it rolled over. I had the speedo and tach professionally rebuilt in 2019, and left the mileage the same to avoid any hint of impropriety. It has the original dual disc option on the front end (previous owner bought it that way). It now has a new repro wiring harness on it(originals included), but I have not finished hooking it up. Many new rubber components (grommets, pads, etc) installed throughout. New OEM style coils, wires, and plug caps (wires will need to be clipped and caps installed). Fresh battery. Fresh plugs and air filter as well as oil. Tires are rollers and need to be replaced. Fuel tank isn't rusty and ready to go. What needs to be done: hook up wiring, replace tires, charge battery, fix front turn signals, rebuild front master cylinder and flush brakes(the rebuild kit is included). There are spares included as well (pictured), which the previous owner gave me, as well as a couple of original magazines that the previous owner had. It also includes a clean NC title in my name. The remainder must be paid before the bike is picked up. I accept cash or bank/cashiers check. If paying by cashiers check it must clear the bank before the bike is moved. Bike must be picked up within 14 days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements. I can meet shippers on most days, or buyers for that matter. Standing around and talking about it in the garage while drinking a beer is free.
Please look at the pics - remember that this is a 50 year old motorcycle. Won't let me add another pic, but the engine serial number is Z1E 03362.
