I am happy to help you arrange any and all shipping to get the bike to your door! Message me to come see the bike
1968 BMW R60US (this is the more rare version of the R60/2. They put telescopic forks on the /2 to make it more "modern" and sporty for the last two years of production).
Clean Colorado title in my name. I have owned the motorcycle for 4 years on display in a collection not ridden.
To prep it for sale I gave it a full recommissioning including:
The motorcycle has original paint in all places I can tell except for the very front of the front fender. There are areas of wear consistent with the age and scratches and dings such as the chips shown around the rear left suspension cover. The pinstripes are all original, and the condition can be seen in the photos.
Areas of wear include: the three lower fins on the right cylinder head cover are cracked and can be seen in the photos. There are paint chips around the mounts for the levers. The bar mounts are spaced upwards to avoid interfering with the steering stabilizer, however, the wires from the bars to the headlight bucket exit the bars here and are cut from pinching here. Therefore, the turn signals for the handlebar switch do not currently work (but worked fine before the wires split).
Again, please view this video of the motorcycle starting and idling and walking around to see the condition: https://vimeo.com/797851675
The bike is triple matching numbers. The engine is original and the engine number matches the frame number which matches the VIN plate on the head tube.
