2009 Ducati 1098R

One Owner Ducati 1098R329 original miles on this "wicked fast" race bike. This 2009 Ducati 1098R Bayliss Limited Edition is #131/450 built to honor three-time World Superbike champion Troy Bayliss, and it was acquired new from the dealer in 2009.
It is finished in a red, white, and Neon Yellow accents over a red trellis frame and is powered by a 1,198cc desmodromic L-twin mated to a six-speed transmission. Features include

The bike started out as a New/never sold 1098R Bayless edition. The 1098R and has been modified/tuned to be raced or tracked by Common Wealth Motorcycles, an authorized Ducati Dealer out of Louisville, Kentucky. ( www.commoto.com) The Dealership renamed after race tuning and modifying it a 109RS "Speciale".
It comes with a custom triple-color paint scheme, a Termignoni exhaust system with carbon-fiber mufflers, ceramic coated exhaust pipes, and Ducati Performance items, including an alarm system, a GP racing clutch and cover, and a fuel tank protector. Equipment includes

a red-finished frame,

a monoposto tail section with a two-piece seat

a carbon-fiber front fender and exhaust heat shields.

The bike has an Öhlins steering damper, with clip-on handlebars featuring control switches and Brembo brake and clutch master cylinders. Digital instrumentation includes a speedometer, a bar-graph tachometer, selectable data readouts, and traction control indicators.
The 1,198cc Testastretta Evoluzione L-twin in the R model offered more displacement and a higher compression ratio than that used in other 1098 models, and factory-rated output was 180 horsepower and 99 lb-ft of torque.
This 1098R shows 329 original miles. It has never been raced and is in perfect showroom condition. The title is still in the Dealers name.
This amazing and wickedly fast Ducati is now offered by me, its original owner, with a clear title, a Ducati bike cover, a rear axle stand, and a numbered commemorative plaque on the frame. I am selling my collection of Ducati bikes because, at 65, it's time for someone "who feels the need for speed" to own this bike.
