1947 Indian Chief, Red for sale

1947 Indian Chief. Non matching numbers but engine is a correct 1947 Chief motor. I bought this Indian from an estate, the Son told me his Dad didn't ride & took it in trade from the gentleman that restored it about 25 years ago, it sat in his Dads office as a decoration for over 20 years. He couldn't find any of the paperwork from the restoration in his Dads house but he believed the 78 miles on the restoration was correct & looking at the bike that would appear to be the case. Motor is free & gas was drained from fuel tanks & tanks are clean inside. It has some reproduction parts like the speedometer & front brake lever. The bike was tied down for transport at some point by the handlebars & it damaged the vulcanized rubber on the handlebar risers & the top of the amp guage & scratched the dash housing, the Indian head plastic lens on the front fender light is broken & the right side gas tank has some damage by the emblem. The paint on the bike is very nice other than that. Bike comes with the windshield & will need a battery & full service to run.
