Description
I have spent over 3 years building this bike and have many photographs of the entire build.
It is a replica of the original 'Limited edition' (200 bikes only, 1964/ 65) BSA A65 Lightning 'Clubman'.
Hopefully, the photographs will say it all- but please don't hesitate to ask any questions you want.
Boyer Electronic ignition system (including 2 new ignition coils (as recommended) and DVR2 solid state regulator.
Fuel tank cleaned and sealed... (Ethanol proof) Indicators for safety when riding. LED lights throughout. New battery, tyres, wheel rims/ spokes. Engine fully rebuilt.
The bike is located near Stafford.
Reason for sale is er, age...
As mentioned, please feel free to ask any questions at all...
Plug lead has been chastised for being off when I took the pictures... the naughty lead has since been refitted... Early history of the bike is that it was bought directly from the BSA factory (in 1965- I think) by a sidecar racer (I have no specifics as to which racer- although I believe Chris Vincent, Bill Bodice and John Flaxman did race BSA outfits around that time (wishful thinking on my part there)- so the engine would have been used for that. The bike was re-built and registered for road use on the 9th of October 1969.
