I am the 2nd owner. The original owner owned it for 17 years and I've owned it for 11 years.
I've owned and ridden Ducatis for 26 years. I thought I'd never sell this one but it's time to move on. An early 916 was my dream and I finally got to own this one. I did a couple of track days on it, and have taken it out for the occasional ride on a nice afternoon, but mostly have just pampered and admired it in the garage. I believe the Ducati 916 is the most beautiful machine ever made. It is a work of art.
The bike starts and runs perfectly with instant throttle response. The radial front brake conversion is amazing. The brakes are extremely precise and powerful.
