Description
For sale is my Lambretta 1959 TV 175 Series II. This is The Ultimate Mod Scooter.
This beautiful classic TV 175 Series II, won the best Lambretta at the Brighton Mod weekender 2023.
This scooter has featured twice in Scootering magazine in 2010 and 2021, and is the talking point and head tuner every time it is ridden out.
This TV 175, is in amazing, excellent condition externally, the underneath mirrors that standard also.
Specialised Parts The restoration was commissioned and built by Ralf Lowe. Many NOS 60s accessories were sourced from Weston Scooter Parts back in the 90s. Seat upholstery by Kelvin Classic Vehicle Upholstory. Chroming from Quality Chrome of Hull, and ignition rebuild Jem Booth.
Accessories included: Headlight peak, Original ignition & lock, Double leg shield, Horncastle cover, Golf ball insert Jug handle front crash bars. Front mudguard clam shell. Eagle accessory. Front fork boot covers. Wheel disc & spinner. 60s bar grips, tassels, brake levers, brake peddle cover and kick start cover. Fiamm Alpine horns with compressor. Innocenti clock and key fob. Ken cobbing front and rear mud flaps. Fiamm Footboard extensions. Lightning flashes. Original sat torino seat, recovered in original leopard print vinyl with matching spare wheel cover. Seat grab rail. Rear wheel disc and spinner. Rear crash bars. Outrigger Twin chrome exhaust pipes, Working rear Jag lights. Ulma spare wheel rack. Spare wheel disc and spinner.
To restore a TV 175, to this standard today, would cost in excess of 22k + from Rimini Lambretta, but the accessories are non existent and impossible to find.
Paintwork: The Scooter was stripped, blasted, prepared and primed. Everything was painted in original cellulose paints, the lighter blue is on Li models, the mid blue was standard on Innocenti Minis at the time as was the gold. For a little extra pop, the finish on the full spine of the Lambretta is Alpha Rosso Shock - its a deep red that turns lighter when the sun hits it.
Engine: The scooter is still running a completely standard 175cc engine, with a gp crank and electronic ignition, fitted for reliability.
The engine number 175TV/2 XXXXXX and frame number 175 TV/2 XXXXXX are correct for the model.
It was imported in 2003 and registered 125cc as was the trend. The log book clearly states, make : Lambretta TV 175 and the V5 is in my name.
The ride is sublime, for a 65 year old scooter, the TV is well weighted and balanced. Good brakes from the internal front disc, which came as standard on these models and revolutionary for its time.
This scooter is advertised elsewhere and can be removed anytime.
Cash or bank transfer on collection only.
