1961 Harley-Davidson Touring

This is a wonderful motorcycle, and we received on consignment from a lady whose husband recently passed away. It is a beautiful, 1961 Harley Davidson Duoglide in electric blue. It has the iconic ‘Panhead' motor and was started as recently as two months ago, and was driven on a regular basis up until about a year ago.
The gentleman who owns this was a dedicated Harley-Davidson, collector and writer, and this particular motorcycle was always well-maintained and lovingly cared for. Unfortunately, we do not know much about this particular type of motorcycle, and would not be able to start it, or provide much technical assistance.
It is being sold as is and we recommend that if you were interested buyer and you have any concerns that you come out in advance to see the motorcycle in person.

The motorcycle is as you see it and we are not sure if that is the original paint but overall it is in excellent condition and it looks amazing. From what we understand, there are certain replacement parts on it, such as the speedometer, but outside of that we're not totally aware of what they are.
For those of you who follow us, you will see that we had just recently sold at 1946 Harley Davidson under the same terms and the people who came out to buy that motorcycle were pleased and happy with the transaction.
