1960 Lambretta Series 2 LI150

MOT and road tax FREE! Cheap as chips to insure. Only 2 previous owners. The original buyer and chap who restored it.
Bought for my dad earlier this year but due to a change in his circumstances he has come to the decision he will not ride it. This is something that needs to be loved and used.
Where to start. Over 8 months to find something like this and i have seen so many pigs. All and I mean all paperwork you will ever need dating back to the original bill of sale, stacks of invoices and MOTs and everything inbetween. A real treasure trove of provenance and history. You will struggle to find this kind of paperwork with the ordinary out there. The main reason i bought it! Oh and the colour.
So the history of this in a nut shell. The original owner used it for around 2 years then put it in a shed. It was uncovered around 2010 (ish) a man with spare time on his hands (!) began the nut and bolt restoration. There are photos showing the whole process. As many original parts have been reused for the overhaul, anything needing replacing has been so. As original as possible. Show winning condition and has won shows best in class!
I've taken it for a few spins and its a total pleasure. It gives you the biggest smile.
Has been valued at £10k by the Lambretta Scooter Club with paperwork to back this up.
Really you will not find another like this. Go see all the cheap ones as I did then come and look at a proper sorted and ready to go minter.
