Classic Suzuki GSXR750R 1985 Slabside

First of the Suzuki GSXR750Rs from 1985, known as the "Slabside" or "racer out of the box". For many years these bikes won everything until the Yamaha R1 came along.
Please read the description carefully!
This example has done practically zero kms since I had it restored by Christensen's Suzuki in Warragul and it passed it's roadworthy about 6 or 7 years ago - been stored in a dry shed and not started since! Obviously no battery, not running and will need recommissioning by new owner. No RWC but still registered to 16 June 2025 and all parts are still there. Was running ok and everything working when I laid it up and moved on to newer bikes.
At a guess it will need at least a new battery and all fluids replaced before running it again. Not sure if the brakes or clutch will need freeing up? I drained the fuel tank before laying up and it had just had new tyres for the RWC. I have kept the rego up to date, so it will come registered in Victoria until 16th June 2025. Buyer will have to get their own RWC to transfer the rego. Keys and some paperwork are included.
This bike comes with 70% of another 1985 GSXR750R for spares and a lot of other expensive spare items. You could possibly make yourself a second bike if so inclined. The spare has frame, engine, wheels, non-original exhaust, fairing, seat, gauges, carbs, etc.

Buyer will need a trailer or van to collect. I will not arrange transport. The balance by cash on pick up.
