This knucklehead is “as found”. Only the battery, spark plugs, rubber ducky float and fuel strainer assembly have been replaced. (I replaced the strainer because fuel line would not seat on nipple.) no fuel leaks.
After going thru the systems and making this knuckle run as it should, I decided to test ride. To my pleasant surprise, the Mc is fully sorted and needs no adjustments. Shifts great. Clutch works well and is adjusted perfectly. Brakes are well adjusted and it stops very quickly and smooth brakes too.
I have ridden this motorcycle 3-4 miles at speeds up to 60 mph. It rides really nice. I was very pleased. No spitting or missing. Lots of power. Transmission is very good. No grinding.
This knucklehead was donated to charity and purchased at auction.
In 35 years of hunting knuckleheads I've only had 2 others like this. Both were farm bikes that stayed with the owners from new til death and were purchased from the estate. (Both still had knucklehead frames that were busted with busted cases. This may be a similar story. I know the bike is from Connecticut. The cylinders and tanks were preserved for long term storage with oil.

I can help getting the bike on the truck and recommend shippers to use.
The handlebars are bent. Throttle and spark controls work very well. Both cables are connected, adjusted properly and work the full range, as they should.
