Stunning, eye-catching example of the iconic Honda CBX 1000Z. Finished in original metallic red paint – never resprayed – and presented in very good condition for its age. The bike has always been stored in a dry, clean garage and remains a highly original example.
One owner from new (March 1980) with 32,355 genuine miles, supported by the original speedometer. Last on the road and last run approximately 3 years ago.
The bike is virtually standard: Original paintwork. Original exhaust headers with aftermarket silencers. Stainless steel rear rack (one-off custom addition). Rear mudguard shortened for aesthetics (original removed section included).

CURRENT CONDITION - Engine turns over but does not currently run (carburettors likely require servicing). Engine turns freely with good compression. Oil leak at gearbox output sprocket (seal supplied). Oil leak at alternator (seal supplied). Rear brake slightly binding (piston and seals replaced approx. 6–8 years ago). Front brake pistons sticking (new pistons and seals included). Rear tyre worn – requires replacement. Front tyre aged – recommend replacement. Forks show slight leak in cold weather (new seals supplied).
