Velocette Viper Venom

1958 VipeR/Venom.
In good running order.
Registration number 942 YUF.
Frame No. RS10608, Engine No. VR1605 as fitted by manufacturer.

2014
Converted to 500cc with Venom piston and barrel fitted. Cylinder head machined by Criterion.
2020
Magneto overhauled. Velocette oil tank filter element improved, now gauze/paper. Clutch overhauled with replacement parts. New silencer and exhaust pipe fitted.
2022
New tires fitted.
2024
Machine Serviced; Engine, gearbox and Forks fluids changed. No ‘wet sumping' this past winter.

The machine is very clean, starts well, and gears operate as they should. The original 6 volt electrics are adequate but the dynamo does ‘hum' when headlight is on main-beam. This machine can be ridden away. For more information and photos message or call.
