Triumph 1940 T100 PRE UNIT PRE WAR TWIN

Bike is running, and I believe all the major components present are correct. The bike had at some time in it's life been fitted with telescopic forks, a common upgrade for girder models in the late 40's and 50's and I had the girder blade made in the UK since I was unable to find an original. It still has the monobloc carb fitted it came to me with, although I will include a correct period carb of the right bore, but not the correct numbers stamped on the flange.
I have an Ontario ownership for it, in my name. Most parts are in solid shape, and restorable, I have had gas in the tank for some time, with no leaks, the chrome is flaking, and some rust spots up top. along with some minor dings picked up over the last 85 years. I have included a picture of the frame number from under the saddle, I can't get a good shot of the headstock number since it is behind the fork spring, but it is the same, TF3352. If your wondering why the engine number does not have the year, 40, in front, join the club, but it is a fact that many of the later 40 models did not either.

To my knowledge, it has not been ridden for many, many years, and I stress, it will need a total re-commission or restoration before riding.
