Vincent Comet 500cc 1952

1952 Vincent 500cc Comet restored a couple of years ago and only 2,242 miles since rebuild.
Very nice original Vincent comet this bike was restored a couple of years ago by its previous owner the engine was fully rebuilt by Vincent specialist BOBB DUNN.
Bike has all matching front and rear frame numbers RC/1/10586 with original registration NSJ734 correct gearbox number G97 52 this Vincent when back to the factory in March 1955 and had a new engine fitted No. F5AB/2A/10349 due to a damaged crank so had a new 1955 engine fitted and that is how it has been since. all part of its history.
We have just serviced this bike runs and rides very well / the engine is really good starts first kick / no smoke and has a really good crack from the exhaust etc.
Has had 12v electric conversion for better lighting.
The black rims with red lines are correct for 1952 when there was a chrome shortage / original Amal Carb fitted / stainless guards and tool tray.
This is a very good Vincent comet ideal for someone looking for a very nice bike to use and also keep as a investment for the future.
