Yamaha R1 Big Bang Race Track Bike Superstock spec 2012 with V5 Ohlins Akrapovic

This is for the 2012 Yamaha R1 Race/track bike as shown in the photos. Bought new in 2012 and built by us originally for Ryan Gibson for the Hottrax endurance series but never raced it as he ended up on an 848 and this year racing in Spain - only been used for track days and testing. Basically superstock spec with Ohlins TTX shock. Ohlins 30mm fork kit. Arapovic full system. TRW rearsets. Hel brake lines. HM quickshifter. King Carbon fairings and Bazzaz ZFI fuel management set up by us. The bike has the Variable Map Function switched from the right handle bar control and also The Yamaha 6 way TCS system - the traction control can also be switched off if not needed.

Generally in very good condition but has been used on track so has a few very light marks but nothing serious - We have looked after the bike from new and its ready to race or a top spec track bike. The fairings are virtually new and ready to paint (no point us painting them as you more than likely want your own colours) just needs a minor repair on the right front top fairing - nothing too serious. Rear seat unit is brand new so no seat pad fitted as you would have to take it off to paint it. Speedo has been connected from new and shows 2117 miles will be slightly less though as it runs a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket with stock size rear.

Comes with the V5 and shows 1 former keeper. 1st keeper is the sponsor who owns the bike and now in the riders name. We have the road kit available but is not included in the sale - please contact us if you are interested in it.

As said the bike is ready to race or painted it would make a great track bike - HPI clear and could be put back to road spec. Unfortunately we do not have spare wheels or any other spares so comes as you see it.
