This bike won the IOM TT Junior race in 1986 ridden by former works Ducati and Norton rider Steve Cull. he also won the Ulster Grand Prix on this bike beating Joey Dunlop and won the Irish Road Race championship. At the TT Steve Cull took the chequered flag to win the 1986 250cc Junior TT at an average speed for the 226. 4 mile race of 109. 62 MPH with a fastest lap of 111. 07 MPH. This was only the second Honda two stroke race bike at the time to have won a TT and only two riders won TT's on 250 Honda RS250's in the 80's. Steve Cull and Joey Dunlop. This bike was also raced by Geoff McConnell in Ireland during 1987 and won almost every time out winning the 250 Embassy Championship the Ulster Championship and the Irish Championship.
