Yamaha TZR 250 3XV in Red & White

For sale is my beautiful TZR. I bought this bike whilst in Japan in 2009. I brought it back and registered it in the UK in July 2011. The V5 is present and I am registered as the keeper.

Except for the upgraded brake lines on the front the bike is completely standard and as such sounds and runs perfectly. Fuelling is absolutely spot on with no flat spots or hesitation. Upon recommissioning in 2011. the carbs were stripped and sent away to be ultra sonically cleaned. The powervalves have also been stripped and cleaned. the servo and cables cleaned and lubricated at the same time. When I bought the bike it displayed just over 5000 kilometres on the the clock and it now currently displays 7498 kilometres. The reason I bought this particular bike is that even after 22 years this one still sounds and rides like a new bike.

The only bad points on the bike are the crack in the fairing panel and the repaired mudguard (See photos). Both of these happened during shipping back to the UK. The photo of the fuel tank looks like a scratch. it is not. it's just a reflection on the paintwork.

The bike was recently MOT'd and benefitted from a new front tyre and a new gel battery. My reason for selling is simply the lack of time I have to ride the bike.
