Yamaha R1 2012 Race Bike

For sale my beloved 2012 Yamaha R1 big bang. I have had this from new and bought as road bike. I have stripped and rebuilt this for racing in the BSB Superstock class and was used in the first three races of 2012. Due to a change circumstances I didn't race it after BSB Snetterton round 2012.

This is one awesome bike and too good just to sit my garage looking good. So it has to go.

This is the new 2012 model R1 with 6 stage Traction Control and Mode Selection A-B-C. The Traction Control works in all three modes so loads of settings really. The engine was built by Kev Stevenson who built Motorpoint Yamaha`s Engines for BSB and is a really well built motor with loads of power and low down torque. Below are a list of the spec and parts I have. I do have some spares but sale is just for bike and spare wheels. Other spares are available to buy at a negotiated cost.

Factory Race Clipons.

Facory Race flip up levers clutch & brake.

Full K-Tech DDS front fork internals & Factory K-Tech endurance fork tops.

Full Race DDS rear shock lengthened to achieve correct geometry.

Full Titanium Akrapovic Evo Race System & Baffles.

Modified Ecu to YEC Spec. All fueling is done through ECU. This allows everything to be adjusted. Wet map available switchable.

Quickshifter actuated through ECU so super smooth.

MWR airfilter.

GPR damper on top yolk.

Race faring bracket.

CRC faring & seat unit which I believe are the lightest and the best about.

Lithium Ion Battery great bit of kit for size saves loads of weight

Spare Wheels with discs and speed senor ring on front wheel. The rear speed sensor is done through g/box.

Engine has been blueprinted and balanced cam timing moved on sprockets. to the slotted holes. Re-profiled cams.

Extra lower custom built radiator fitted.

Hel race brake lines.

Bendix Ceramic pads.

DBR rearsets race shift set up.

GB racing covers as required by BSB regs.

Titanium Bolts & Ally bolts fitted throughout.

This Is a full on race bike not a road bike could be registered if V5 was applied for
