Description
For sale my Royal Enfield Army Bullet EFI and sidecar. it is with great sadness that I have to sell this lovely combo but needs must so I hope it goes to a good home to someone who will cherish it as much as I have done in the past 3 years.
So let me tell the history of her. I bought it brand new in November 2010 as a solo bike. then a year later I had the Metorite sidecar professional fitted by Charnwood classics. as you can see by the video I have spent a lot of money on this bike to make it look like a war department bike from WW2
As well as the sidecar fitted at a cost of £5.000 it also has an old style claxon horn which really sounds cool. a private reg number so it's hard for anyone to know it's true age. a shorter and louder exhaust which sounds nice. a nice spot light on the sidecar. and army spade is also fitted (this can easily be removed if not wanted) including some nice decals and army numbers. a toolbox army ammunition box and finally a new chained was fitted last year.
It has been well looked after and regularly serviced by the one and only Steve Piper from Eastleigh.
It has done less than 5000 miles since new and is taxed until the end of November and the MOT expires 9th November.
I have attended many classic bike shows on it and during that time it has picked up no less than 3 awards for best bike and i would like to think that it would carry on doing so as it's a one off and I have never seen another like it.
It is well known on the Hampshire biking circuit and is affectionally known as "50 Shades of Green" or 50 shades for short.
The good thing about these EFI engines is they are very reliable and go for miles and miles on a full tank. around about 75mpg.
The only negative thing about this bike is that whilst out on it the other week the speedo packed up on me so this will need seeing to. I suspect it needs a new cable.
To save uploading loads of photos I have made a 2 min video of the bike so you can get a better look at it.
