For sale is my 350cc Matchless G3L

This is a really nice bike as you can see which has been restored in the last few months to a very high standard

It is painted black as were many of these machines when they were released for civilian use back in the day

It is ready to be ridden for pleasure or taken to vintage shows

It has newly been registered for the road and has been allocated an age related plate along with the V5C which is in my name

It comes has a 1 years road tax which is free on this age of vehicle and is it is also MOT exempt

It is sound mechanically. it does not smoke. it starts easily and runs great

It has new chrome rims. stainless steel spokes and tyres

The bike was made to order for the WD. and is one of 7000 machines built for contract S-2604 and delivered in 1943

I have a dating certificate from the AJS & Matchless Owners Club which states that the bike was assembled in 1943 and the engine is from an AJS model 16 manufactured in 1937

I am led to believe that bikes that were built during the war were assembled using parts which were available at the time with little or no emphasis on matching numbers

Asking price is £4250 for this is rare chance to own a lovely piece of British history. still going strong 70 years on
