Description
Here is my BSA C15T. I bought it a couple of years ago and have replaced all the original parts with new apart from the engine The cycle parts therefore comprise: Faber Mk3 frame. Extremely light. T45 tubing. Oil in top tube. Rails under engine making it okay for pre 65 Scottish. Powder coated high gloss black. Taper roller head bearings. Alloy swinging arm spindle. Stainless brake pedal and rod. Alloy footrests
Wheels built by Paul Jackson. Max Heys alloy hubs and back plates. Stainless spokes and tubed alloy rims. Alloy wheel spindles and chain cam adjusters. Latest Armac alloy tank - no dents - two small scratches which would buff out. Bespoke seat. Modified Honda enduro forks inside AJS alloy sliders. Machined by Paul Jackson. They look great and work superbly
Max Heys alloy yokes and silencers. Stainless exhaust pipe.
Domino clutch. brake. valve lifter levers and throttle.
Betor Pro shocks. New Talon rear sprocket and Renthal R1 chain. IRC tyres fitted about 10 trials ago- front absolutely fine- rear a bit rounded but still superb grip. Alloy chain tensioner.
The engine has been completely rebuilt and all necessary bearings bushes and seals replaced. The original barrel has been replaced with an alloy one and fitted with a new piston. All oilways were cleaned and the crankcases split to replace the sump valve. Electrexworld ignition (fantastic). Clutch converted to 5 plate and lighter action. Montesa alloy kickstarter. The engine is a genuine trials motor with wide ratio gearbox. F model
The bike weighed 240lbs originally- now 195 approx It is registered for the road. It steers and goes perfectly.
