Yamaha TZ250 U (3AK) 1988 Grand Prix Race Bike, fully refreshed, Marvic wheels

This is a lovely example of this rare and desirable 1 year only model. the first of the reverse cylinder Yamaha 250 GP bikes. It has just been stripped and refreshed with the following:
New pistons. rings. gaskets. head bolts. plugsNew wheel and head bearingsNew Dunlop KR108 slick tyresNew fairing and seat professionally painted in Roberts yellow/whiteNew throttle cables and capNew screen. seat padNew chainNew CNC alloy steering damper bracketNew foot pegsNew grips. tank strapNew clutch lever and perch.
The crank was checked and shows little use. the cases have no signs of damage. The Marvic magnesium wheels had previously been stripped and primed. they have been painted (not powder) in gold. (As with any old magnesium wheels they should be crack tested before use. I have no idea if the previous owner had done this before priming them)
As well as being fabulous to ride these reverse cylinder GP bikes are appreciating in value and represent an excellent investment.
