Description
This is a 1982 Suzuki RM 125 that's been restored to an incredible standard by one of the foremost race mechanics in the world.
Lee McCollum who is James Stewarts mechanic for the Factory Yoshimura Suzuki team restores bikes in his spare time. He shipped these 3 to us to sell as the evo market is bigger in Europe.
The bike is in what can only be described as concourse/museum quality.
Lee sources all OEM new parts from Suzuki. he part bags from every component come with the machine to verify what has been replaced.
I've seen the rebuild taking place over the last 3 years and its safe to say the bike is every bit as clean on the inside as it is on the outside.
You wouldn't get close to this with the time and parts involved. even if you had the know how to do it. o pay someone to rebuild a bike to this standard would be well over 10 thousand - IF you could find someone to do it. Believe me there's not many people worldwide who could turn a bike out to this specification. for any money.
It's impossible for me to go though every part or what's been done. Its safe to say EVERYTHING is either new. or fully reconditioned to an unbelievable standard. You simply cannot pick a fault with the machine and its eye opening quite how nice you can actually get one of these bikes to look and I'm sure perform.
The bike doesn't need to go through our workshops it is 100% ready to go.
£6000
Please call to arrange a viewing as the bike is in secure storage and we need a couple of hours to collect the bike and put some fuel in (they don't allow us to keep bikes there with fuel in).
We consider all part exchanges. Providing its a good deal we can work with most bikes.
Please expect a trade in value on any part exchanges. We CANNOT pay retail money for bikes to buy in as we need to make a margin on everything we sell.
A full receipt can be supplied with the machine.
We accept all forms of payment though the funds need to be cleared in our bank before collection.
(yes Mr. Robinson. know you want to buy a bike for your son on a card and we can't deliver it.)
Also PLEASE do not text with silly offers as I do this for a living. My wife wont leave me or the house reposessed if I don't sell it straight away so I wont even reply to offers £500 less than asking price so save us both the time and send the offers to the next ad. If you want to view it then negotiate a price then I'm open to anyone picking a fault and a sensible discussion on the price but we do check these over to ensure the bike is 100% ready to ride before we advertise it so i usually get full asking price as its priced to sell.
