Description
We have for sale a 1971 K registration Honda CB 125 K3 Sports Twin, finished in turquoise metallic. Three owners. Totally rebuilt to as-new concours condition. She was the subject of a seven-year restoration, having covered only 46 miles since. 15 BHP, 5-speed. One of only 26 imported into the UK in 1971. We believe only 5 have survived. She has been rebuilt using new old stock parts. Engine totally rebuilt by Phil Denton Engineering, including new pistons, valves, and a new crank. Semi-synthetic oil has just been changed at 30 miles.
She will require running in if you are to use her on the road. All paintwork in superb original colour by David Burton. Inside of the tank treated. Brakes and hubs rebuilt. Stainless spokes on re-chromed original DID wheels by SRM Engineering. New Metzeler ME 22 tyres and tubes. New wiring harness and battery. Seat rebuilt and trimmed by Leightons. All fixtures and fittings are stainless, including all nuts and bolts, wheel spindles, handlebars, and rear brake rod. New chain and sprockets. New speedo. New mudguards. New exhaust pipes and silencers. New cables. Carburettors rebuilt. Two sets of keys. Original owner's manual.

A best-seller for Honda in the early 1970s, the CB 125 was designed to cater to the more sporting rider. The CB had two carburettors, electric start, five gears, a full cradle frame, a two-leading-shoe front brake, and a tachometer. Power was 16.5 BHP @ 9500 RPM, with a staggering 19.5 BHP @ 10,000 RPM.
