Ducati Mark 3 350 Desmo

The very first Desmo engine Ducati road bike was the Mark 3 Desmo. This actual bike was featured in a 6 page article in Historic Italian bike magazine Moto Storiche. it has the race kit Veglia rev counter and is a very original machine even the tank with its hand lined gold pinstripe. i doubt you will ever find a more original one. this bike draws a crowd and has a wonderful sound from that revy little engine.
Starts first kick runs faultlessly handles superbly just buy ride and enjoy this bike wants for nothing.
In 1969 Motociclismo. tester wrote: This bike is obviously not intended for a vast public. being a rare example of sporting mechanics. which only the motorcycle elite deserve to own. those who do obtain one must preserve it with care: in the distant future. as a vintage bike it will be priceless. since it will go down in history as one of the most famous desmodromics ever sold.
The man who bought this example certainly did that. preserving this machine with love and attention. most however ended up being striped down and being raced. they really are that good.
I am a perfectionist my bikes are always 100% I have enclosed a picture of my 1/4 scale model of an AJS 7R i make these from scratch inc. Manx Nortons and the Fanjio Alfa Romeo 158.
I am only selling to fund the costly engine rebuild and 5 speed box for my 750 Norton Commando. its gotta be perfect!
I bought this bike to enter in the Isle of Man Classic TT junior. in production bike spec. but its just to original to race. I have this bike advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to withdraw.
