1982 Honda CB1100RC

Last year I realised an ambition to own a CB1110R my dream bike that I lusted after for three decades

However the reality is that I am also 3 decades older & after a few rides out followed by subsequent visits to the Chiropractor & Physio

I have decided that my back cannot take the pain anymore so I have decided to put her up for sale.

This bike must be the most expensive CB1100R on the planet!

History:

The previous owner bought the bike in Italy & paid 10k euro for her. she was then in 2008 entrusted to a very well known professional restorer and was paid 6/7k GBP for a full ground up restoration.

The said restorer then went into receivership with the bike totally dismantled.

The bike then went to the Motorcycle Restoration Company to have the restoration completed… another substantial amount was handed over to get the bike completed.

Once the bike was finished she was dry stored frequently serviced to keep her in tip top condition in part of the previous owners' collection until he finally decided to reduce his inventory. That's when I come in

I used her last summer then laid her up for the Winter and now the realisation has hit home that maybe I am not as fit/young as I think I am so I have decided to put her up for sale

I had her MOT'd last week. No advisories and she had a full no expense spared service valves checked / Carbs synchronised/balanced/all fluids changed/etc etc. by “Moto R” in Ruthin I have a folder full of receipts & History/photos of the restoration etc.

She starts on the button every time. and soon settles down into a gentle “burble” on the open road and warmed up she really flies and when that throttle is opened she sounds like torn silk!
